Prototype for non-contact power transmission

Principle of non-contact power transmission
Current product and technology developments were discussed on an accompanying professional congress by experts from industry and research. The big interest in the subject of electric mobility showed more than 300 participants of the congress as well as the large number of visitors on the various exhibition stands.
During three days the fair visitors could get profound informations on the fair stand of the J. Lasslop GmbH about the subjects "non-contact power transmission" and "bidirectional loading".
The prototype of a transformer using non-contact power transmission was shown. Currently it is the most efficient transformer of this kind in Germany.
This transformer, with a surface of 300 mm x300 mm and a distance between Primarily and Secondarily from 85 mm, has a continuous duty of 22 kW.
The whole-electric efficiency is higher than 94%!
This application of contact-free power transmission can be used for loading a vehicle battery.
Without contact plug a connection with the vehicle is produced, while the accordingly equipped vehicle is parked merely on a loading position furnished for it. Then after the vehicle is properly identified, the electricity starts to flow and the accumulator of the vehicle is loaded - without tiresome exiting the car and attaching plugs - fully automatical!
This technology is not quite new and comes from the industry where it is used for many years successfully, e.g., for transport systems without driver.
However, substantial progress in the performance of these systems is made to supply electric vehicles in future with new energy in a very short time and with high comfort for the driver.
You receive further information on the subject "non-contact power transmission and data transfer" from Mr. Hubert Ziebarth, Tel.: 06652 / 9609-21
